Director Alex Zamyatin started his professional career in 1999.
He is an award-winning director, who directed over 20 projects, among them sci-fi, thriller and drama series which were aired on all of the main national TV channels.
Aleksandr has also worked as a producer/executive producer, as well as a showrunner.
His unique experience in filmmaking spans from the USA, Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.
Almost all of the television series, Aleksandr directed each episode, some of which had 24 to 30 episodes.
In 2011, a 24 episode TV serial In the Forest and the Mountains’ (all episodes which he directed) was nominated twice for a TEFI, which is the Russian equivalent of an Emmy.
This period drama serial has won awards at St Petersburg Film Festival, Russia and Ukrainian International Film Festival for Best Drama Series and Best Directing for a Drama Series respectevely.
In 2016, Aleksandr relocated to Los Angeles.
